Shall we not forget that it was the very same Mr Roger Dixon who by his clumsy and unscientific report poisoned the credibility of Folien 1 in the Inge Lotz case. The man could not even measure a drinking glass. The proof is there to see. Not surprised that Adv Gerrie Nel ripped him to pieces the last couple of days in the Oscar Pistorius trial.
But it is this very same Roger Dixon that Wertheim and Zeelenberg and their cohorts like to hold up as back-up for their faulty claim that Folien 1 was lifted from a drinking glass.
Wertheim wrote this on 24 April 2008: ‘Your own Mr Dixon even verified my report and found it accurate. Why can’t you believe him?’
Why can't we believe him – mmmmmm? I wonder why ...
Oh I so wish and live for the day a man of Gerrie Nel's caliber rips into Wertheim and Zeelenberg – to expose their highly questionable conduct in the Lotz case. They were so lucky to have faced such tame prosecutors. I would, for example, have loved to see how Zeelenberg explained to Nel how his drinking action results in a skew lip print – and why it will always be the case according to him. And exactly what one should do to get a skew AND incomplete AND creaseless lip print. And all his stories about the condensation. It would have been funny. And how Wertheim repeated his experiments and explained the position of the fingers, etc. I suspect he would have been way more uncomfy than Dixon was at times on the stand.
Maybe Dixon's report in the Lotz case, which is unexplainably shocking, may just be instrumental to get the case reopened against the "Godsman" Fred, as he is described in the latest Huisgenoot/You. Then hopefully we can go through all the misleading and actually quite funny experiments of Wertheim and Zeelenberg in court. That day will come.
In the meantime I hope these two gents have sent Lesley Hammer and Debbie Leben a big bunch of flowers for saving their ‘reputations’ – for now. Although the IAI does not seem happy to have them as speakers at their upcoming conference. Maybe the (elephant big) penny dropped?
Those who thought we let this go, made one hell of a big mistake. We're only starting.
