SWGFAST Sufficiency Graph - Copyright Permissions?

Post by hilmo »

Colleagues,

Now that the SWGFAST docs are posted to the CLPEX site and under consideration by the OSACS, I am at a loss how to appropriately source an image from a SWGFAST document in a CRC Press publication. Are the documents copyright protected? Are the images from the docs open source? I have emailed a few individuals and received no reply. Thoughts?

Since I own the domain, I'll let you use it for a million dollars... ;)

My understanding is that anything created with public money is public domain. The only exception would be if a document created by a government funded entity reproduced someone's original content, but it would be cited as such, which the sufficiency chart is not.
