I am assisting David Stoney in a research project into cases in which the absence of fingerprint identifications may have affected an investigation or trial. In this regard, we are seeking some seasoned prosecutors and cold case detectives to query about old cases they remember. We would greatly appreciate any names/contact info you might be able to forward to us. David will contact prosecutors and investigators to see if they are interested in participating or if they can direct us in avenues of research pertinent to our project.
If you can forward any names/contact information of prosecutors or cold case detectives we might contact, these would greatly appreciated! Please contact me directly at my email foridents@aol.com
Thanks!

Re: Research Project
If you are interested in cases from the defense PoV, I have one in mind, where failure to timely examine latents on an object at the scene may have cost the defendant his freedom. I'd be willing to put out a query to various defense bars.
