Depending on the assumptions of the researchers, such studies are likely to result in the development of several different models for a given evidence type, and by extension, in different inferences about the same hypotheses.
'Assumptions of the researchers' is the new 'training and experience'. Quick, Batman....to the Zazzle-cave to make a T-shirt for this year's conference.

Depending on the assumptions of the researchers,
I guess in the modern scientific paradigm of the OSAC and other multi-lettered groups comprised of lawyers and researchers, "Assumptions of researchers" is more reliable than the opinion (conclusion) of trained, experienced, and proficiency tested experts.
