Here's an interesting article regarding a criminal case that utilized a specialized version of DNA analysis that compares how closely viruses are related. All of the players are there: Daubert, Overstating, Jury Interpretation of complex science, Infallibility, QA issues and even Barry Scheck. It's just nice to get perspective on the similarities of the critiques of various techniques.
