Absorption of certain latent powders by some rubber lifters DOES happen and there is no human error involved as it is simply a physical event.
So, enjoy your experience (?) while it lasts, but be prepared for the “curse of the myth”. Of course you will be able to provide an explanation obtained from postings at this site.
It does a dinosaur good to know they have experienced a myth, sort of self-serving.
