Nope

It was a "basic" inked print comparison and did not need verification. It was technical clerical work

First (civil) profession to get fingerprinted in the US? Bonus for the person's name...Another bonus for the person's name the rolled the first professional's fingerprints!

It was a firefighter in New York; his name was James Johnson and he was fingerprinted on Dec. 19, 1902. He was printed by none other than Henry de Forest!
