I'm probably writing this too soon, however I just read the "T-Model" for a statistical approach to latent print identification. Not being able to grasp all of the statistics presented made it a little confusing, but the paper as a whole is tough to argue with. I was wondering if anyone has tried to apply this technique and what did you think about it.

Shows how much I was paying attention. This topic is covered in the post titled "fingerprints and statistics". Still it would be interesting to try to validate the findings using known prints just to see if things add up correctly.
