Titanium Dioxide for dark non-porous surfaces?

I am currently in search of any published studies (or internal validation studies) on the use of Titanium Dioxide for processing dark colored non-porous items for bloody prints. The only article I have been able to locate thus far was written by Josh Bergeron in the JFI back in 2003. Anyone know of any additional studies or publications?

Thanks to all for your emails! We are going ahead (and almost finished) with getting this process approved for our agency's use thanks in part to all of the information that folks sent to me... It was a tremendous help in not having to reinvent the wheel!

I've been directly involved with validation studies using TiO2 in the past and have a great contact who can provide a rutile form of TiO2 powder at little (or no) cost to law enforcement agencies. If anyone else is interested, feel free to contact me offline.
