Big Wullie's Case

Hi America

Since I have posted on this forum for some time I thought it only fair that I let everyone know where I am coming from.

I was wrongly convicted of a Robbery in 1982 and have protested my innocence since.

I was refused Legal Aid to conduct an appeal.

My application for leave to appeal resulted in me being dragged out of our High Court screaming abuse and my application was refused.

I served four years of a six year sentence and was released in 1986 and have continued to protest my Innocence.

I went to our Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC Cover-ups) and expected an independent and impartial fair hearing.

What I got was cover-up after cover-up.

Firstly the person I made serious allegations against sat on the board of SCCRC and continued to sit on the board until Al Megrahi appealed to them, he then resigned to allow the SCCRC to remain Independent and Impartial (No such move when I Appealed to SCCRC) I wasn't afforded the same Independence and Impartiality as Megrahi.

SCCRC spent £1.8 Million investigating the Lockerbie case and asked for independent Expert evidence from a Professor
--- --------- on Identification evidence, particular attention was paid to Gauci's evidence (Identification evidence) and was one of the reasons SCCRC indeed referred the case of Megrahi.

The very same expert now backs me and points out 4 irregularities in the conduct of my ID Parade where the police showed Photos of me to witness's before they came into the Parade Room, and the arresting officers participated in the running of the ID Parade with one "assisting" with the witness's, the other present in the Parade Room when they should take no part in the parade at-all.

But in my case SCCRC did not ask any Professors to look at my case

The expert now backs me and conducted his report Pro-Bono because I could not afford to pay for this, Why didn't the SCCRC commission such report into my case ?

The SCCRC told me my witness's evidence was hearsay, This was without them interviewing any of the witness's.

Recent Press coverage can be seen here:

Bet SCCRC and Our Justice Secretary now wish they had dealt with my case more fairly.

There is far too many aspects to my case, I simply cannot fit it all on the one page and I am awaiting more press coverage and do not want to spoil the exclusives so please be patient and I will bring all the latest news to you as it happens.

Kindest Regards

William Beck

Now, if you happened to be a descendant of Adolph Beck, it would be so much a better story.

Thanks for noticing the link between my case and Adolph Beck.

We know one thing for sure Us Becks have always been treated badly and had to fight for everything.

Adolph attempted to overturn his wrongful conviction 16 times but his pleas fell on deaf ears.

Here are some links to his case:

Wiki:

How strange is it that another case of wrongful Identification is going to come back in the name of Beck and Haunt the Judiciary and call for further enquiries into the Court Structure and the culture of covering up their mistakes at all costs.

In my case the SCCRC have covered up for their colleague William Taylor QC who also went on to unsuccessfully defend Megrahi, They definately underestimated me.

Another striking similarity to the Beck case is that in my case it will be later argued that not only one Judge should have recused himself but "Two Judges" In My Case should have done so.

Interesting times ahead for the Scottish Judiciary

SCCRC should at the very least have afforded me the same level of Enquiry afforded to Megrahi, Had they done this then there would have been no disrepute.

Who knows maybe Adolph is a direct ancestor ?

Best Regards

William Beck

Are you also aware of the Devlin Report:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devlin_committee

I will ask my Library for this full report which is not available on the internet and post it later.

Seems there was two Beck's and I am the third to be wrongly convicted on Identification evidence.

Wonder also if Alfred was an Ancestor or relative!!

The only evidence against me was 2 Positive Identifications.

You would have thought they would have learned by now eh ?
