Footwear outsole dust impressions

For those who conduct footwear impression evidence examinations: are you aware of a methodology that will allow recovery of dust (footwear outsole) impression off of a body? PathFinder Dust Lifer lists recovery of dust impressions from a body. I would like to know if anyone has been successful at this, and if so, please describe the methodology used.
Also, if anyone knows of papers or published articles regarding the recovery of dust impressions (footwear) using an electrostatic detection device (such as the PathFinder or the Vaccum Box), please let me know. I have the discussion of dust impression recovery in Bodziak's book, and two papers: Electrostatic Lifting Procedure for Two-Dimensional Dustprints by Henry Lee and RE Gaensslen, and, Using the ESDA to Detect Dusty Shoeprints on Paper, published in JFI, authored by Heikki Majamaa.

Finally, with regards to pattern evidence on a body: other than photography, is there a recovery technique of pattern evidence that is visible as contusions on the body (that are not dust impressions)? Again, if you have papers or articles discussing this, please let me know.

Thank you very much for the assistance.
Best Regards,
Jan

There is also an article by Tom Adair and Michael Dobersen "Lifting Dusty Shoe Impressions from Human Skin: A Review of Experimental Research from Colorado". If you would like a copy I can email it to you.

Hi Tash:
Thank you for the article reference. Yes, please e-mail a copy to me. Our library is missing that particular issue of JFI.
I appreciate the assistance!

Best Regards,

Jan
