Anyone ever seen the Fingerprint Maze in Hove Park in the UK on Google Maps. I just found out about it today and thought I'd share it.

Boyd we have a big whorl pattern in front of our building----It is called 'Elevated Prarrie".

If you go to Mapquest and the aerial veiw for 812 Springdale Road, Austin, Texas you can see it but I am not computer savy enough to get it on to this web site.

Perhaps Gerald might be able to do it.

A whorl pattern with 14 L2D (some say 12, some say 13).

Here you go Charlie... It has inconclusive written all over it.

I was worried about you Charles. I mean I know Law Enforcement budgets are tight and all, but couldn't they at least spring for a roof over your cubicle? Seems like there could be a chain of custody issue there....

Compared to where we use to work-----no roof is a palace by comparison.

Besides they are taking $100 out of each employees paycheck to help pay for the construction.

Don't they do that everybody???

Now, now, Dennis. I ran the furrows in the fingerprint in your front yard once and I found it delightful to give it a whorl.

Speaking of whorls, Charles Illsley used to show a slide of an aerial photo of an open pit mine in Utah that was a beautiful whorl pattern. I have scrolled around on Google Maps satellite photos and tried to find it, but so far without luck. Would anybody happen to know where that mine is?

Would that be Bingham?

Hi Boyd, I found that one, but the mine I seem to recall had a perfect (almost)circular spiral with two deltas, exactly as in a whorl. Is it my imagination playing tricks on me, or was there such a perfect open pit mine? I do not believe this was the one Charles used.

Yeah, that's all nice, but can someone just run this through AFIS and see who's been annoying my slug...
