True Crime book -- evidence fabrication

A book to be published later this year promises to give us answers in the murder of Inge Lotz and the fabrication of evidence by police investigators trying to frame and convict her boyfriend, Fred van der Vyver, for her murder.
A second book on the case was reportedly in the process of being written a few months ago by Michael Day, with an expected publication in 2010.
Having read a dozen books about the murder of Harry Oakes in 1943, I can attest that no two of the books even seemed to be describing the same crime. Now I'm eager to read both Antony Altbeker's book in 2009 and Michael Day's book in 2010. Will I be able to recognize the two stories as chronicals of the same murder? I can't wait to find out!
