Becky Stokes and I just returned from attending two days of the training provided by FSI. Topics were varied and the instructors are well informed. This is a great opportunity for forensic professionals from all over to gather and exchange information and ideas. Prior to attending the training, we visited LVMPD's photo lab and were very impressed with their set up. Dave Phillips gave us a great tour and good information to bring back, for our own digital management system.

Spring 2010 Continuing Education for Forensic Professionals Program
The Spring 2010 Continuing Education for Forensic Professionals Program will be March 8-13, 2010, in Fort Worth, Texas. Registration for this program will begin in the next 2-3 weeks. We will post the opening date for registration on the website a few days prior

Registration has been posted - Friday, January 22 @ 9:00AM EST.
Flex your refresh button (or F5 key), it was pretty jammed last year.
They're also doing it in Boston in August.

Update: Registration is going to be Monday:
We apologize for the difficulty you have been experiencing with registration for the 2010 Spring Continuing Education for Forensic Professionals Program. Our vendor, BlueSkyz, informs us that the problem lies with their internet hosting company and has affected all of their customers, not just FSI.
To be fair to all of you, and to allow the company sufficient time to address the issue, registration will re-open at 10 am EST, Monday January 25, 2010. Again, we apologize for this inconvenience and hope to see you in Fort Worth.
