An anonymous colleague would like to create a unique going away gift over the course of a couple of weeks - a cross-stitch creation that is friction ridge related.

Anyone know of any patterns - or how to make patterns - for cross-stitchers?

You'd probably have to pick a drawing, photo, or image and clean it up first. Maybe one of the "happy face" prints.
