The Holy Fingerprint (of Antioch)

I was recently going through some old files and came across the stuff I brought back from the centennial conference in St Louis. Among the papers was this tongue-in-cheek adaptation of a skit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
It was penned one night in St Louis by three of our regular contributors and then circulated in the latent prints lecture theatre the next morning. David Ashbaugh's face was a picture when he read it.

This is reproduced and recorded here for posterity as a bit of light-hearted relief from the heavier topics currently dominating discussions. May it also act as a welcome memento of the good times had by all who were in St Louis in the August of 2004.Arthur: "How does it, uh.... How does it work?"

Brother Maynard: "Ridgeology, Chapter 2, Verses 9 to 21..."
Another Monk: "And Saint Ashbaugh raised the Fingerprint up on high saying, 'Oh, Lord! Bless this Thy Fingerprint, that with it Thou mayest know Thine enemies by their tiny fingers in Thy mercy. And the Lord did grin, and the examiners did gaze upon the ridges, and furrows, and pores, and edges, and creases, and scars, and incipients, and large worts-' "
Brother Maynrd: "Skip a bit, Brother..." *waves at him*
