In addition to being a CLPE, I enjoy handweaving on large looms. I never thought about the connection until discovering this professional weaver, Mary Zicafoose. Check out the tapestry weaving she did of her thumbprint at

I even sent an e-mail to the weaver in regards to the print being upside down, along with complimenting her on the work. If I am ever able to weave one, I will definitely make sure it is right side up

I should take a field trip to her studio. I live in Omaha, NE and being a non-loomer, I've never heard of her before. Maybe she'd let me take a picture of her tapestry to share.
