San Luis CBP officers arrest convicted felon attempting to re-enter the country

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to the San Luis Port of Entry arrested a woman on Tuesday who attempted to enter the U.S. illegally by using a passport that didn't belong to her and altering her fingerprints.
“This is just an example of the desperate acts criminals are willing to commit when attempting to enter the U.S. illegally,” said Port Director William K. Brooks. “Despite how creative they think they are when attempting to avoid detection, our CBP officers will catch them.”
According to CBP, an officer at the port who was processing travelers coming into the country on Nov. 2 encountered a 37-year woman applying for entry into the United States.
A CBP officer noticed that the woman, a citizen of Mexico, did not resemble the photo on the valid U.S. passport that she had presented and detained her for further investigation into her identity.
During the fingerprinting process, CBP officers had difficulties getting clear prints from her and discovered that she had used glue on her fingers in an attempt to hide her identity.
After the glue was removed, CBP officers were able to determine the woman's identity through the fingerprint database system and discovered that she was a convicted felon who had an extensive criminal history.
The woman was taken into custody for immigration processing and possible prosecution.
If I rememer correctly there were some paper hangers (forgers) using superglue on their fingers when cashing checks at those places that would take an inked print on the check. They got caught. Somewhere in the Midwest I think.
