here is an interesting lift, the latents were very greasy and the SOCO attending wondered if it is the result of a skin complaint. I think it may have been the result of a fly having a feast on the greasy impression. what do you think?

That's as good a guess as any, and probably more likely than most. Did they check for fly DNA?
