Does anyone teach or know someone who teaches a class on footprints (the ridge structure of the feet). Essentially, I'm wondering if there is a class similar to the Ron Smith palm class, but geared toward feet. Thanks.

I can't speak to the availability of classes, however at past IAI conferences, there have been workshops given at the IAI. In particular, the late great Charles Parker offered such a workshop. I might check with Sandy Siegel in Austin to see if there is a push to continue that workshop. Additionally, David Johnson at Las Vegas Metro PD, under Alice Maceo's leadership, has also done substantial work on plantar impressions and also taught an IAI workshop. I'd check with both of these individuals (listed in IAI membership) to see if they can be of assistance for training in this area. If there is a particular need in your agency, they may be able to take their workshops and offer expanded training. As an instructor, I find I rarely can cram in all the info I have on a topic in a short 4 hour workshop. So they may actually relish the opportunity to expand on their material and develop it further into a 1 or 2 day course.

I have taught a two hour workshop on footprints in the past couple of years.

There is not a whole lot of information out there and the ridgeflow of the feet is really quite different from the palms.
