Independent Verification

I would love some feedback. My question is, does your lab require independent verification from on outside agency/lab when there is a differing opinion regarding identification or can it be done by a third examiner within your agency/lab?

It depends on what your SOPs state. If that's why you're asking, then this is my take. SWGFAST doesn't specify where a third examiner must come from. I would think that someone in your own lab would suffice. In my situation, we would have to go outside because there are only two examiners here.
