Talking to Attorneys

I was listening to someone talk about published criticisms of a recent article by someone critical of fingerprint research. The speaker suggested giving the published criticisms to the prosecutor if that writer/expert was appearing in their case.
Might I suggest giving the article to BOTH attorneys at the same time -- as forensic experts you are neutral in this. The defense attorney may not be aware of the problem. It may save everyone time and money if there is a serious problem with an expert and it is discovered up-front.
