Looking for any advice or reviews on current UVIR cameras and related equipment. Anyone out there really love what they use? Anyone hate what they use, and would tell us to avoid purchasing it?

Thank you in advance!

First, I would generally recommend a monochromatic camera because it will be sharper and more light sensitive than a color camera. Plus, there really isn't such a thing as color in IR or UV. I have a Nikon that I bought from Maxmax that I'm very happy with.

That said, the new Fuji is pretty sweet. I had the opportunity to get my hands on one for a couple of weeks and the design of that camera is very intuitive and it's a good quality camera. It is a color camera, so you lose a bit in sensitivity and sharpness when shooting IR or UV - but, you have an advantage that if you want to shoot both visible and IR/UV, you can keep your images perfectly aligned.

Thank you, George! I recently saw a demo on the Fuji camera you are referring to. Pretty impressive!
