Live Scan Fingerprint Cards 1 to 1 size?

Live Scanned Fingerprint cards: Question, what controls the print out size as to one to one? Is this a calabration issue? I have a 10 print card that is at least 1/16" smaller than an inked fingerprint. What happens with FBI and the AFIS searches? Our AFIX Tracker will not accept non 1 to 1 size fingerprints. Are the live scan vendors controlling this size problem? tks. DER
