Forensic Scientist 2 vacancy in MN

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety/Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) in St. Paul has a current Forensic Scientist 2 vacancy in the Latent Prints Section. Duties include performing comparison examinations on latent print evidence submitted to the laboratory, processing submitted evidence to develop latent prints, writing reports concerning the latent print examinations, testifying as an expert witness in a court of law concerning latent print examinations, coordinating and participating in training classes for law enforcement personnel in the area of latent print processing, and processing the scene of a crime for all types of forensic evidence. Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or Physics or a related area and at least two years of experience as a Latent Print Examiner in a forensic laboratory.
