Interesting Print

Post by mj10 »

Came across this today. There is a clear recurve (right loop) but does anyone have any idea on what is going on or what would cause the ridges on the right side to flow vertically instead of exiting out as expected. Would it change the classification?

Thank you for posting this image. I have no idea what is going on in the print, but it sure is interesting to look at.

Brilliant pattern and thanks for sharing it! Would you at all be willing and able to share a high resolution copy?

Other than a rough working knowledge of Henry's system I only know our S.A. system...we would probably keep it as a loop in the 5-fingers filing but in the (modified?) Battley single fingerprint system as we use it, this could be wide open for interpretation...

Cheers,

Anton
