Positions in Fingerprints

I know I've said this many times but I am in the final year of a Forensic Science Degree in England and I am hoping to find a job at the end of it. My dream job would be to become a latent print examiner.
Can some one assist me in achieving this goal? Any assistance on where to look for jobs and training would be helpful. As I am tied to the West Midlands at the moment I have been checking out the West Midlands Police, Staffordshire Police and West Mercia Police websites and keep a watch out for positions on their sites.
Is there anywhere else I can look?
The only experience I have currently is that of my final year project which is examining the pore definition and repeatability of pores in inked prints and latent prints deposited on paper developed with ninhydrin. From which I have to cosely examine many, many, many fingerprints - unfortunately for me they're all of the same finger, so I have got to know my left fore finger really well.
Any help would be appreciated.
