Looking up old posts

I'm trying to find an old post, I believe it is on the old message board. I clicked on the link for the old message board and was directed to a pornographic message board, just FYI in case you do this at work like I did.
I'm trying to find the post about the use of the identification symbol (the circle with the line through it). The post had a lot of good information in it as to where it originated from, etc. If you have this information, please let me know.
Thank you in advance.

Stephany,
It looks like there were a couple of threads on the topic. The first one is the one that you started:
http://www.clpex.com/board/threads/2003 ... 16/516.htm
The second is another request for a thread on the topic:
http://www.clpex.com/board/threads/2003 ... 44/344.htm
It could be that the original thread was on the oldest version of the board, a couple of generations ago. If I remember correctly, this is the third generation of the board. I don't know if the earliest version is still around to be searched.
Regarding the old board being a pornographic message board, that's what happens to a forum when left unchecked. It's the same board, but the bots have set up camp and flooded it with posts. The same thing would happen here if there weren't a few gates to pass through to register and post. You can still use the search feature to find old threads on that board, but it takes a bit to find them. Maybe Kasey has a way that he can have all new submissions to the old board turned off so that the archive of useful posts are still available.
