WANTED - CRIMCON MK-II CAMERA(S)

I am trying to locate any, new or used, Crimcon MK-II camera(s). The one that I currently have is fixing to die on me. If anybody has a Crimcon camera that is stored away, no longer being used, or possibly even inoperable, please contact me. If you have a spare one that you can part with, again, please contact me.

It is so easy to use and I hate to have to put this one I have "out of its misery"!

Check your labs, storage areas, property division's, archives, etc, to see if any of you might have these at your agency.

Many Thanks,

Clayton Daniels

Not sure if we are using the MkII model or not, but if you have a video camera, it should not be too difficult to get a replacement camera. It is the lens which is the important part and can normally be interchanged with other video cameras. You may need to get the mount position altered, which again shouldn't be too difficult.

Just to update yes it is the Crimcon MK2 we are using.
We are on to our 4th printer and each printer did well over 200,000 images.

At one point I looked at replacing the camera just to make it 230 volts (and using a higher res camera?) so we could throw away the 110v to 230v transformer. I decided against it as it meant changing the light bulbs also to 230v and at that point it seemed a pointless exercise.

I am very sure that replacing the video camera is doable.
