i have nearly finished a degree in archaeological and forensic sciences in the uk and will soon be looking for work. i have just completed my dissertation on fingerprints so have a fair amount of background knowledge but obviously have not completed any certified courses. does anyone know anyone know of any job vacancies in the UK that would be suitable to someone straight out of university.
ideally i would like to go travelling for a bit first so if anyone knows of anything that is coming up but not for a few months that would be great.

You will find that each Force has their own website with their own job links. I know that West Midlands Police have some fingerprint bureau jobs (entry level) coming up soon.

Just do a google search on the force that you want to work for and look under Police Staff, as this is where the jobs are usually posted.

If its research that you want then look at jobs.ac.uk as that's where many universities post their research positions. There's always the Home Office Scientific Development Branch.
