Latent Position Vermont Forensic Lab

The keen eyed among you may have noticed a position posting for a Latent Examiner at the Vermont Forensic Laboratory that went up on the IAI position board today. The current vacancy has been created by my decision to return to Australia to take up a great opportunity there and be a be closer to my family.
If anyone is considering a move to the North East I can highly recommend the VFL. It is a small lab and the crime rate in Vermont is quite manageble. The Physical comparison unit of the lab which includes the Latent Print Section is a close group of people and great to work with. Negotiations are currently underway for a new lab building in the next couple of years. Even though it is small the lab is well equiped, ASCLAD/LAB Accredited and lab management are committed to ongoing training opportunities. As analysts we also enjoy very good relationships with our other New England lab colleagues and we even have our own New England Division of the IAI.
If anyone is thinking they might like to check it out please don't hesitate to give the lab a call and ask any questions you might have.
