Looking for information on a PS plug-in called clear ID. Is this used for enhancement (processing) of latent print images? You may email me direct as well.

ClearID is a set of Photoshop plug-in filters and includes a Javascript interface that adds some interesting functionality if desired (the filters can be applied without using the script).
The filters include tools for tonal adjustments; sharpening; noise reduction; pattern removal; debluring; among others. They are appropriate for latent print enhancement as well as forensic video analysis, questioned document analysis, etc. I would guess that there are about 20 filters in the set - but I've never actually counted.
The two filters that I use more than any of the others are the pattern remover (FFT) and deblur (deconvolution).
The script interface will automatically convert the image to 16 bit, stamp all visible layers to a new layer, and rename the layer with the filter used and the parameters set for that filter. It's a nice workflow, and mimics what I do with adjustment layers. It would be even better if these filters could work as adjustment layers, but that's something that Adobe doesn't seem to let third parties do.
