Job opening in NH

We have a job opening for a Criminalist I in our latent print identifcation unit. NH is a great place to live and work. We have no income or sales tax, we are close to the ocean as well as the mountains. For big city excitement, we are about an hour from Boston. The job is working in the NH State Police Forensic Laboratory, an ASCLD-LAB accredited laboratory. There are currently five examiners in the identification unit. We are a very cohesive group, knowledgeable and progressive. There are lots of training opportunities. There is plenty of work and overtime is available but not mandatory. Our duties are mostly laboratory type work but we do assist with crime scenes about four or five times a year - just enough to keep it interesting. Other duties include, teaching at our police academy, vehicle processing and sometimes taking deceased prints at the morgue It all keeps the work varied and interesting. If you think you might be interested in working in NH please contact the senior criminalist in charge of the Identification unit, Marc Dupre at mdupre@safety.state.nh.us. or you can call him at 603-271-3573. He would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
