Identification Canada

Post by Christie »

Can anyone tell me how often the journal 'Identification Canada' is published? I have an article that was accepted for publication in it in late December and the editor said it would be in the next edition.
However i do not know when the next edition is nor have we recieved a copy - so i do not yet know if the article has been published.

Thanks for your help

Hi Christie,
Identification Canada is a quarterly publication. The last issue I received was dated December 2005. The next one should be arriving in the mail any day now. I do believe that your submission would, however, have to be further reviewed by the applicable Editorial Board member(s) prior to publication. You could try posting your question on the Forensic Forum of the Society's website at www.cis-sci.ca

...has hit the news stands...
The article titled " EVALUATION OF 5-METHYLTHIONINHYDRIN FOR THE DETECTION OF FINGERMARKS ON POROUS SURFACES AND COMPARISON " appears on page 4.
