Survivability of latent fingerprints

Post by Neville »

The Israel Police have again come up with an excellent article in the latest Journal of Forensic Identification. There are two issues I would like to high light to readers of the study.
1 This was in desert conditions.
2 They clearly stated this did not occure on glass.

I for one have never worked in desert like conditions and most cases of the durabilty of latents I have read about are in desert like conditions, so those of us who work in tropical or semi tropical conditions relax.
