Need advice about RTX(developed by Kenzoh Mashiko)

I am working in forensic lab in Taiwan and my domain is latent fingerprint.
Last year I went to US to visit Dr. Henry Lee's lab knowing RTX(developed by Kenzoh Mashiko).
I am very interesting in it!!!
Because before knowing that, I considered latent fingerprint just divided into 2 parts---absorbents and unabsorbents. But RTX could use on many different surfaces,included paper, metal, skin, plastics and etc.
And it is low toxic!(Knowing from Kenzoh Mashiko's website)!
So I hope that could lead this technique(RTX) into my lab.
But I get some problems.....
(First) Although I check many papers but still don't know about the formula of RTX(how to make the solution of RTX).
(Second) From websites and papers,I know having 2 kinds of application of RTX----fuming and soak. I should like to ask which way is better,and their formula having any difference?

Greetings Yao-Long Liu,

Mr. Mashiko-san does claim that RTX on be used on "all surfaces". As you stated though, one must remember the types of substrates and other processing methods that are more conducive to that particular surface type. Do not abandon established scientific methodology and techniques for a single product. Incorporate into your lab protocol.

We have used RTX in our processing lab about two (2) years now. We have generally restricted its usage to porous paper type substrates using either the "direct" or "indirect" fuming methods. We do not soak mainly because of the cost factor. RTX is very expensive, but very effective. A little fuming, especially using the "indirect method goes a long way.

Because of multiple worldwide patents you do not get the option to mix your own RTX, it must currently be purchased directly from Mr Mashiko or his authorized distributors.

If you email Mr. Mashiko he has been very good about answering any questions.
