Don't look unless you take the test first! The first two images were shown at the IPES 2012 in Tampa from Dr. Dror. I don't know if they were his images or ones he found but I can clearly state that it's a good thing ridges are flexible and that we aren't looking for exactness in latent comparisons.

but I finished it in Record time and didn't have any erroneous exclusions or inconclusives

I'm betting the Latent Print Examiners who failed to get 100% missed the first two. Those look like they come from Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices Test which, by the way, Bill Byford of Greater Manchester Police in England recommended as a pre-employment test for prospective latent print examiners a quarter century ago. The other four drawings, of course, are Dr. Dror's.

It would be nice to have a pre-employement test for latent print examiner applicants that was validated as a predictor of ability at the job five years after the date of hire. This may well be on the road to such a test.

But lose the first two questions. Or include a "close" score for folks like those of us who chose an adjacent line.
