ASB Meeting March 12, 2020 (live updates)

So, not looking to start a long fight/debate here...but could someone...anyone...tell me what is different (substantially) about these conclusions that is different from the OSAC one? I mean...some of them are practically verbatim. SSS is nearly word for word the same.

I don't care HOW these conclusions get implemented...whether it's the OSAC or the ASB doc...

But a previous thread seemed to say that the OSAC doc and approach is flawed. ASB generates a doc instead (KUDOS, and I mean that. I'm genuinely pleased they created one and should be proud of it). It just is identical to the OSAC doc that ASB has to date...rejected.

What am I missing? I am sincerely asking to be educated. Not TROLLING at all!!

It's' nice to see that there is an emerging discussion of factors that form the boundaries between conclusions. I would say that is the most crucial development to arise in the industry in my time in the discipline. If done correctly, it would allow for the articulation of what contributes to complexity such as no orientation clues, using 3rd level detail, variability of features, limited amount of data, etc.

IMO the document is just as subjective as an examiner's unqualified opinion aside from it.

This morning I was asked by an ASB representative to remove the screenshot and discussion related to the ASB consensus body meeting from last week. I have abided by their request to remove my first post but I allowed the remaining two replies as I feel it can still garner discussion with any persons having knowledge of the process.

My simple reason for posting a 'live chat' was I wrongly thought that since this was an open meeting, it wouldn't violate any ASB polices. That was incorrect in that even though it was an open meeting, permission must be given to post any work product from that meeting in a different public forum.

This is very serious stuff. With the documents still up for a vote, who knows what mischief the trolls in St. Petersburg would initiate to influence the vote. In fact, how do we know that "g." is not a Russian troll? In fact, I'd better check my passport to make sure I'm not one myself!
