Does anyone know of any articles or research done to show that processing an item that has possible blood on it, with superglue, will inhibit blood processing?
If I had a knife with possible blood, but I want to superglue it. I would superglue it, then use a blood processing reagent. Does the superglue affect the blood processing? Any articles would be appreciated.

I can't think of any articles off-hand, but I have processed items in that order before - SG followed by BP or dye stain for any unstained areas, then amido black to enhance the blood. I've never seen the amido black not work.
