New scientific research out of Stanford University proposes an overlooked physical characteristic that could be used for identification:

The mind boggles. I always suspected many of the people I was booking into jail fell into this category as an obvious identification. But now it is proven. Imagine how much safer air travel would be if scanning could be done using this new tool. An algorithm for a new AAIS should be relatively easy for AFIS program writers. A likelihood ratio program, A-Stats, could determine exactly to what degree the subject is an A.

I can hardly wait, although after this post, I'm sure most followers of this forum will suggest I should be the first person registered into the system.
