Received this email the other day from the IAI:

We now have three states participating in the forensic science caucus in Congress. Idaho, South Carolina, and Alabama are now members! We are requesting that you call or email your member of the House of Representatives today and ask them to join the forensic science caucus. This is important so we can educate them on forensic science issues in a very effective way. We will be providing education to the Caucus during National Forensic Science Week and we want your state to be included. Your members of Congress show their support for forensic science by joining the Caucus.
