Bloody receipt
I am working a Homicide case which includes a receipt that has been soaked in blood (now dry). There is no visible ridge detail. I have been asked to process this item for fingerprints. My thought is Ninhydrin will turn the entire item purple, can't use Physical Developer because it is a thermal receipt. Any suggestions...

Potential clarification
Could you clarify what you mean by "soaked"? Obviously if the receipt was completely covered in blood, there would be little use for latent print processing, unless a print was present in the blood.
