A premier institution of higher learning, affiliated to the
University of Delhi, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, is
organising an International Symposium on Advances in fingerprint
Technology, on February 14-15, 2006 (AFT-2006).
Highlights
1. Plenary lectures on all aspects of fingerprints (History;
Classification; Detection; Enhancement; Poroscopy; Automated
Identification Systems; and Biometry) by eminent experts and
investigators, representing forensic science laboratories,
fingerprint bureaus and universities.
2. Workshop on detection of fingerprints.
3. Panel discussion on steps necessary for progress of fingerprint
technology.
Participation
College & university teachers, forensic scientists and research
scholars who are interested to participate may apply to the
organising secretary, giving their name, designation, address, phone
no. / e-mail id. Registration is open to a limited number of
participants and, therefore, would be on first-come-first-served
basis. A few seats are earmarked for officers serving in forensic
science laboratories and security agencies.
