This is a quote from a recent news article about stopping people from fraudulently obtaining multiple driver's licenses:
"Holt says the new "no smile" policy in those states is to deter fraud. "It's similar to a finger print. They'll be able to take your photo, and they can take points off your picture and determine who you are a lot easier," he said."

First there was fingerprint identification, then came "DNA fingerprinting" and now will this become "Photograph fingerprinting"?

It is amazing technology and can no longer be called "emerging". It's here and it works great!

I can provide real world examples of what it can do to anyone interested.

I also think it's wonderful that anything to do with identifying individuals is tied to fingerprints in the general publics mind. I'm not sure what yor gripe is
