I'm not sure what I'm letting myself in for. It's an hour-long talk show streamed over the internet. Listen at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/TalkForensics and phone in to give me "what for" at (646) 727-3674. Should be fun. Remember, this Sunday, May 31, at 4:00 PM Eastern time.

Great job, Pat. I spent an hour this evening listening to the broadcast and found it entertaining and informative. In fact, I've known you for years and never heard the bakery story before tonight.

Thank you, Darrell. I'm flattered that you tuned in. (Do they call it "tuned in" when it's an internet program?) I imagined the audience, for the most part, to be people who are interested in forensics but not employed full time in the field, such as students, CSI fans, etc. So I tried to keep my answers more basic and without assumption of prior knowledge. My goals were to counter the "CSI effect" and to stimulate interest in forensics as a career. I appreciate my colleagues who listened.

Pat,

Just wanted to say I tuned in last night and was very impressed with your articulate presentation. Very informative!

It got me to wondering how certain ‘experts’ over here in Scotland would have got on in a similar situation!

Well done Pat and am looking forward to catching up when you finally get back over here!

I hope we can still meet over a well earned drink, and that our friend daktari might make an appearance?

Perhaps we could meet in a central bar in Glasgow where I understand Miss McBride has recently found employment.

Now that would be interesting………

Now that would, indeed, be Fingerprint History. Taggart, Daktari, and Wertheim sitting around a table in a pub in central Glasgow sipping some good single malt served by Fiona. But hey!!! I'm up for it!!! What a conversation we could have!!!
