Latent print opening in beautiful Missoula Montana!

Post by Connie Muller-Ford »

Applications are being accepted for one Forensic Scientist/Latent Print position in Missoula! Missoula is a laid-back college town (University of Montana), nestled in the mountains of northwest Montana. The city boasts a population of approximately 85,000 in a state of about 1 million. Missoula offers a wide variety of outdoor recreational opportunities, hiking, skiing (downhill and cross country), snowshoeing, water sports, as well as a wide diversity of cultural venues; Missoula Symphony Orchestra, Montana Repertory Theatre, Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT), and many local and regional bluegrass, jazz, and alternative music groups as well as museums, art exhibits and the renowned Rocky Mountain School of Photography (RMSP).
Beside all of this, it is hard to beat the quality of life Missoula offers. It is a small town with many of the benefits of a vibrant big city; great restaurants, farmers markets, family friendly neighborhoods, low or no commute times with a bike-friendly infrastructure to boot! Put all this together with a comfortable 4 season climate and it is easy to see why people love this town. (That and did I mention the 3 breweries located right in town?).
Oh, and if this weren’t enough, the Montana Division of Forensic Science lab is situated in a new building with lots of windows looking out at all of that wonderful scenery! The staff is comprised of a talented group of people that are highly committed and fantastic to work with. Interested?
