Last week, Safran Group, the parent company of MorphoTrak, announced it was acquiring L-1 Identity Solutions for $1.6 Billion. L-1, as you may or may not know, owns Identix livescans.
There appears to be a shrinking number of vendors in the AFIS & livescan business. As this occurs, I am wondering where the needs of the latent examiners will fall within their business models.
