Hello,
I'm looking for class/comp and salary info for latent print work for San Francisco. I can't find online who does this work. I find Finger Print Technician, which seems to be 10 print work; and PROPOSED new LPE classifications, but they don't seem to be staffed yet. Does anyone know who is doing their Latent Print work?

(I will ask that you share your identity with me first.). ANd you are correct, there is a difference there between the Fingerprint Technician and the Latent Print Examiner. Their LPE's currently come from their crime scene unit which is sworn. The Fingerprint Technician is mostly 10 print work, with minimal AFIS case work. They are civilian.
