Plan to set world record for largest UAE fingerprint flag

DUBAI // A campaign to get the public to help set a Guinness World Record for the largest fingerprint flag has been launched.

The “Bassmat Walaa Li Qaed Al Ataa” was inaugurated by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and aims to make a large UAE flag from differen’t people’s fingerprints.

The department will now visit other public-sector departments, privates organisations, schools, universities, hospitals and a variety of other community centres in all seven emirates to encourage more people to add their fingerprints.
