Hi
Firstly, this is my first post on the forum, so be kind in your responses
Does anyone use / used the Latentmaster workstation, either in its normal form or in it's ruggedised version? I have to travel to a far flung location to train some people on it and have never seen it or used it (but its a job and it pays the bills).
If you have knowledge of it and happen to have a manual in PDF or whatever and could possibly share a copy with me it would be much appreciated. Otherwise I shall have to revert to the old "it's all done with smoke and mirrors" bit.
If you are training others on it, but have never used it, honestly how good will your training for those other people be?
I would reach out to the manufacturer or the agency you are doing the training for and see if the equipment came with a manual. Just don't revert
to the old "it's all done with smoke and mirrors" bit
that won't do anyone any good.
If it's the RUVIS LatentMaster Workstation, I would at least look up RUVIS technology. There's plenty to find out about it through Google. I found this quickly:
Thanks for your response, I too found these links, some sadly are dead links, which is why I reached out to the wider community, I cant contact any suppliers yet as an NDA is in place, I was just trying to circumvent the system.
Please don't worry about how good the training will be, although I understand your concern, I have worked with Fluorescence and camera systems for decades, I simply wanted to understand the subtle features of this system, as opposed to the Quasar 2000/30 or crimelights of which I own and regularly use in my own Lab.
